Halloween Party Planning
A good Halloween party needs more than spooky decorations. Prioritise visibility, practical movement, age-appropriate activities, food/treats and a weather plan.
Guest and age mix
A children's Halloween party and an adult evening party need different food, supervision, activity rhythm and finish times. Build from the people attending rather than the theme alone.
Lighting and walkways
Dim lighting can create atmosphere but should not make steps, cables, entrances or exits hard to see. Keep practical routes clear and use decorative lighting without sacrificing visibility.
Treats and food
Calculate sweets separately from the food served at the party. If children are trick-or-treating as part of the event, the caller/treat quantity may be a different number from the invited guest count.
Activities
