Party Activity Planner

Do not fill every minute with games. First subtract arrival and food time, then decide how much of the remaining party you genuinely want structured.

What this number is—and isn't

The output is a schedule capacity, not a command to run that many games. Free play, conversation, a successful activity running long or children choosing not to participate can all reduce the number actually used.

Mix the energy

For children's parties especially, alternate active and calmer options where practical and keep backup ideas available rather than forcing the timetable when something is already working.

Worked example

From a 120-minute party, subtract 15 minutes arrival and 30 minutes food/cake. That leaves 75 structured minutes: five 15-minute slots, with two backup ideas ready if needed.

Next step

Read the games planning guide or build the whole party timeline.

How to read this estimate

The calculator separates your inputs from editable planning assumptions. Treat the result as a starting quantity, then adjust it for the real guest mix, product size, venue or serving style. See how our calculators work.
